Easter Traditions

One of my favorite things about holidays is the family traditions that it involves and the rich history it creates. Every Easter, we color eggs with Mamaw and Papaw.....

Get visits from the Easter Bunny......

Hunt for Easter Eggs that the bunny left in our house....

Put on our new Easter outfits and head off to church to hear a great sermon about the TRUE MEANING of Easter......

Pose for a quick family picture.....

Head on down to The Farm for a delicious Easter Lunch with Shawn's Family....

Pose for pictures with all the younger group of cousins....

and hunt for more Easter Eggs......

We had a wonderful fun filled Easter weekend. I hope your families had a blessed time as well....and had the opportunity to create some great memories!

Hoops For Him Season II

We recently finished up Grace's 2nd season playing in our
church's basketball program called Hoops For Him

This year she was one of the older ones on her team.

It was so neat to see how much she has improved in her skills from last year.

Then again, it may have had something to do with those awesome socks Uncle Nate & Aunt Sam bought for her ;-)

She was so excited to add to her sports trophy collection. This makes 3!

Yesterday I found this note outside Grace's bedroom door. Oh, the new found ability to express your thoughts in writing! lol

This is the day....

Twice today when things were really getting to me and I felt at my wits end.....I heard this beautiful song coming from my sweet son's lips. Thank you Lord for this little reminder!
