At the end of April, I had the great fortune of attending Women's of Faith: Imagine in Columbus, Ohio with my Mom, my Aunt, and my co-worker. We had been having some horribly dreary wet weather here in Ohio and I have to say that we were truly blessed to have 2 gorgeous sun shiny days!
Let me just say that I fell in love with Angie Smith. She was so sweet, so precious, and so raw. What an inspiration she is to us all.
I had an amazing time hanging out with these lovely ladies. We ALWAYS have a great time. We laugh, we cry, we sing, we praise the Lord together!
If you ever get a chance to attend a Women of Faith near your town (or even far away), I HIGHLY suggest you try and go. It is an wonderful God filled, anointed weekend with your sisters in Christ!
* Thomas Nelson gave me 4 tickets to attend Women of Faith, however all opinions are my own!
This past Saturday, my hubby and I journeyed down to Worthington to participate in Green on the Green. We had such lovely weather for an outdoor Scentsy show. Don't you just LOVE my new Ohio Scent shirt from Just Jen! This site is great for creating custom shirts for your own business, bridal party, birthday party, organization, really anything you can think of. Create your own t-shirt at Just Jen.
* Just Jen provided me with a t-shirt to facilitate this post. All opinions are my own.
what you're going to find when you live out in the country. Shawn was mowing our walking path around our field when he came upon this sweet little thing. Isn't it the cutest ever? Shawn said is was about the size of a puppy.
He tried to shew it out of the field and into the protection of our woods.
After some coaxing, it finally hopped along. Hopefully it's Mommy came back shortly after.
It was super exciting because even though we have a good bit of land and woods, we rarely ever see deer. We have noticed where they bed down at night on our wood line...but we very rarely see them during the day.
Whenever Gracie is working on her homework, Gauge thinks that he needs some of his own to do. So last night, I wrote his name in dots on a piece of paper for him to trace.
I think he did a pretty good job! He will be all ready for the big Pre-K classroom next fall.
Combine ingredients in a container with a lid. I used a bottle from a store bought creamer. Shake until combined. Store in the fridge and shake/stir before using.
Note: I found that the creamer is quite a bit thinner than store bought. I would imagine you could play around with the amount of milk to adjust the consistency. Also, you could adjust the amount of vanilla to your liking.
I was really pleased with the taste.
No more spending $3/bottle for store bought creamer for this girl!!!
My kids both love watching old school Tom and Jerry cartoons among others. Yesterday they asked to watch Tom and Jerry while I supper ready. I went in to check on them a little bit later and found that Grace had paused the movie and was attempting to read something on the screen. It was a donkey with the work Jacka** written on the side. I quickly unpaused it and explained to her that the word was another name for a donkey....but it's not a nice word.
This particular episode probably dates back to the 50's. Who says that today's cartoons are worse for our children? lol
