Making Scentsy Samples

Next weekend, I have a big show that I'm going to called Baby Bonanza. Since this is my first large show, I decided to try my hand at making samples to hand out. My supplies included: Scentsy Brick, Business Cards from Vista Print, Jewelry bags from Hobby Lobby, Candy Molds and a Wilton Chocolate Pro.

Step 1: Break Cubes out of your Scentsy Brick

Step 2: Chop up your cubes into smaller pieces.

Step 3: Add some of your chopped up wax to the melter

Step 4: Wait for your wax to melt completely.

Step 5: Pour melted wax into your candy molds.

Step 6: Place molds with melted wax in the freezer for approx. 5 minutes. Once solidified fully, bag your sample with a business card and label

I believe that my brick made somewhere around 130 samples.

I discovered that that it is a very timely process of waiting for the wax to melt, etc....so plan ahead for a time when you have a few hours to dedicate to the process.

A lesson that I learned for the future is to buy silicone mold instead. After a few turns of twisting the plastic molds, they started to crack. It think that silicone would hold up much nicer.
