Dear Tooth Fairy

Dear Tooth Fairy,
In this pocket you will find

A teensy, tiny tooth of mine.
so while I sleep where
dreams are made

Let's see if you can make a trade.
In this pocket I will lay
the little tooth I lost today

Please Dear Fairy tonight as I sleep

Leave me a coin
My tooth you can keep.

Making Scentsy Samples

Next weekend, I have a big show that I'm going to called Baby Bonanza. Since this is my first large show, I decided to try my hand at making samples to hand out. My supplies included: Scentsy Brick, Business Cards from Vista Print, Jewelry bags from Hobby Lobby, Candy Molds and a Wilton Chocolate Pro.

Step 1: Break Cubes out of your Scentsy Brick

Step 2: Chop up your cubes into smaller pieces.

Step 3: Add some of your chopped up wax to the melter

Step 4: Wait for your wax to melt completely.

Step 5: Pour melted wax into your candy molds.

Step 6: Place molds with melted wax in the freezer for approx. 5 minutes. Once solidified fully, bag your sample with a business card and label

I believe that my brick made somewhere around 130 samples.

I discovered that that it is a very timely process of waiting for the wax to melt, plan ahead for a time when you have a few hours to dedicate to the process.

A lesson that I learned for the future is to buy silicone mold instead. After a few turns of twisting the plastic molds, they started to crack. It think that silicone would hold up much nicer.

If you're planning on being in the Columbus, Ohio area on March 27th, come visit The Baby Bonanza & Kid's Expo. Be sure to stop by the Ohio Scent Booth and say Hi :)
