We had a crazy busy weekend, but we had lots of fun together! It started off on Friday when Shawn had Daddy and Doughnut day at Grace's preschool. This is something that she looks forward to literally all year! Shawn has started a tradition of going out on a date with her once the festivities are over at school. So their day began at 10am with crafts, doughnuts and cider in Grace's classroom. They then all paraded to the gym for some dancing.
As you can see...the kids were way more into it than the Daddies :-)
Here is Shawn and Grace with her awesome teacher Mrs. Linda.
We ended our Friday night with Family Night which consisted of Old Maid, Go Fish, Chutes and Ladders and lots of yummy Oreos.
Saturday morning and afternoon we spent down at Polaris running errands and doing some shopping. I convinced Shawn to let me stop at the Goodwill down there and much to my surprise...I was able to find 3 pair of jeans and 4 shirts for myself! I know, that's completely unheard of!! Shelly would be proud of me :)
Saturday night, my Mother and Father-in-law come over to watch the kids so we could go see an awesome concert at our church.

We got to see Jason Gray

Addison Road

and Sanctus Real. It was a blast and we had so much fun! Now, I can't wait till Natalie Grant comes in December...so for all you Natalie Grant fans out there...grab your tickets now!

On Sunday, after church we went out to eat with my Mother and Father-in-law for a sort of

I hope you all had a great weekend as well!
