We are all so excited.....

We are so excited to finally have more babies on my side of the family. My kids have been the only children on my side of the family for 4 years....until this week. My cousin gave birth to sweet little Cooper this past Wednesday. As you can see Grace is super duper excited to be the "Big" cousin!

Ever since her "Bubby" was born she has had a thing with baby heads. She would just sit and rub her little hands all over Gauge's head. Even now she tries to do it, but he's not so keen on it now :-) Here she is rubbing baby Coopers head.
It's hard to believe that my kids were ever this tiny. They grow up just so gosh darn quick. Grace weighed 6lb 5 oz and Gauge weighed 7lb 13 oz. Baby Cooper weighed 7lb 1oz.
I couldn't get in enough snuggles. I really wanted to hog him all to myself, but of course I had to share him with my mom and aunt LOL :-)
Congratulations Mandy and Chris! We love you guys!

Oh and last night when we got home Grace told Gauge "You have a new baby cousin. When he get's big you guys can be friends!"
Isn't that sweet!

He is so stinkin' cute!

Gauge will be 22 months old tomorrow. My sweet little baby boy has changed and grown so much in the last month. I am constantly amazed at the amount words he uses and how much better he is able to explain to me how he feels and what he wants.

Our typical bed time routine consists of me snuggling with him and his blankie in his dark room while we rock and sing "You are my Sunshine" and ABC's about 10 times. Last night, I said to him "What do you want Mama to sing to you?" Being the fan of Tigger and Pooh that he is.....he proceeds to put his chubby little finger up to his chin and says Tink, Tink, Tink (Think, Think, Think). I mean, how stinkin' cute is that??? I couldn't quit laughing and squeezing him.  It's those little unplanned moments that bring such complete joy to my life.

A Night At The Circus

One of the great perks of having a Review Blog is working with PR people (Thanks Claire!)for some fabulous local events.  I was very fortunate that I not only got to host a giveaway of some tickets to the Ringling Brothers Circus, but I got the chance to go see them as well.  We had fabulous seats.  We were located right in the middle of the arena about 10 rows up.

The kids have been excited for this day for WEEKS!!!!!
Mommy's 2 Clowns :0)
This is pretty much what Gauge's face looked like the entire time we were there!! So many awesome things to see!
Before the circus actually starts, you can go down on the floor and meet some of the performers and try on costumes, etc.  Here is Grace wearing one of the performer's fancy glittery jackets.
Pretending to ride one of the circus ponies.  Notice Gauge's little light saber. It didn't leave his side the whole night!

The circus was filled with not only awesome performers, but tons of animals too. They had tigers, horses, elephants, dogs, and even a porcupine.

Right around intermission, the kids started getting antsy and each had a moment of "melt down."  But, once the elephants walked out into the arena they were once again mesmerized!

They were so stinking cute! If they didn't weigh like a ton or something, I just want give them a big ole hug! :-)
The Elephant congo line!

What's a circus without a juggling act?

Every single act of the circus with as not only action packed but super duper colorful!

At the very end, they brought out everyone for a final bow. Spectacular!

We had a fabulous fun filled day as a family!  These are memories that are going to last a lifetime!

Round and Round and Round She Goes....

The day finally arrived after much anticipation, money raising and praying for warm weather.
Their refrigerator boxes pit stations were all set up. The course was marked out and the tricycles were greased and ready to burn some rubber!

The spectators waited in anticipation....
And then the kids came busting out of the building with excitement to get their race on!
Hi Baby Girl!
Waiting for her heat.
Ladies & Gentlemen start your engines!
And, she's off to a roaring start
Getting a little help around the curve from Mrs.Lori
Go Gracie, Go!!

Time to take a break from the action for a little snack

Refueled and ready to go!

Grace's 2nd Trike-a-Thon was a big success! Individually, she was able to raise $270 for our great preschool program!
We're so very proud of our sweetie :-)
