It's a Hello Kitty Birthday

After much debate and changing her mind about 4 times, Grace decided she wanted a Hello Kitty Birthday Party.

Here is my attempt at making her cake. I think it resembles Hello Kitty....what do you think?
I love this adorable little cupcake stand. I bought it the Saturday after Christmas at TJ Max for $5.
My finished creation..complete with jelly bean eyes and nose, licorice whiskers, and a Bubbletape bow.
Smile, my sweet little 4 year old
Check out the look on her face when everyone is singing to her :-)

Birthday Girl enjoying cake and ice cream with her cousins.

Aunt Kristyn...aren't you a little to old to be sitting at the kids table? LOL :p
More great family...sorry I caught y'all eating!

Gauge enjoyed the food as always
Play Food, Yippeee :) Now I can serve Mommy and Daddy some home made cookies.
Hello Kitty Purse from Mamaw and Papaw
Basket of Fun from Mommy and Daddy

Thanks to everyone who came and helped us celebrate a very special 4 year old!

Christmas Recap: The Final Installment

When we left my Mom and Dad's house on Christmas Eve, we drove past a huge house with Rudolph perched on top of their roof. Shawn stopped the car and I said "Oh my goodness Gracie, Santa must already be at their house delivering presents. We better hurry up and get home and get you guys in bed."

She was so excited! She kept saying "Do we have time daddy? Do you think we'll make it?"
Getting the Cookies and Milk ready for Santa. You can't forget the Reindeer...they got carrots.
Gracie was worried that Santa wouldn't be able to find his cookies and milk in the dark. So, Daddy moved a table over by the Christmas tree so it would light his way.
Grace woke up at 8:30 am on Christmas morning. She didn't even peek in the living room; but came straight to our room. She woke me up saying "Mommy can I go look at the tree?"
Opening presents

Gauge enjoyed the bows more than anything :-)
Getting some lovin' from Daddy.
Smile Beautiful
Yeah, more art supplies!
All throughout the Christmas parties, Gauge wanted to play with whatever Gracie was playing with. In this instance it was the Cherry Blossom Market and pretend food.

we went to my Mom and Dad's house to celebrate with them.

Grace and Gauge in front of the mountain of presents. Can you tell they're the only children on my side of the family?
Oh, how I love them!!
Growing up, my brother and I enjoyed opening our stockings maybe even more than our presents. Here is Gracie opening her.
