Food, Family, Friends & Fun = Good Weekend

I turned the BIG 3-0 on Saturday!
My birthday weekend started off by getting these flowers delivered to me at work on Friday. They are from my awesome pastors (bosses). My beautiful, wonderfully sweet co-worker also bought me a gift card to Steve & Barry's (which is now one of my favorite stores...I mean who wouldn't love a store where everything in there is $8.98 and under)?

It was a typical Friday night when I got home from work....that is until:
My hubby proclaims "get up, we're leaving."
Me: "Where are we going?"
Hubby: "I can't tell ya, it's a surprise. Just get in the car and follow me."
So I follow him in my car and we pull into our State Park, which is just like three miles down the road. At this point I am getting a little suspicious. I thought maybe he had just planned a little picnic for the four of us. Nope, he had secretly arranged for all of our family and friends to come and bring food for a potluck!!! He had snuck out to the shelter house and decorated it, brought his grill and everything. I was totally surprised! Isn't he the best hubby ever :)
Here is my hubby and my dad grilling

I couldn't have asked for a better birthday!!! All of these awesome pictures were taken with the NEW camera my hubby bought me for my birthday. I love love love it. It is a Fuji Finepix S700.
On Saturday, my mom and dad watched the kids while Shawn and I went to a wedding in BEAUTIFUL Amish Country. I didn't take my camera, but managed to get this shot from my cell phone :)

AWESOME WEEKEND!!! I feel totally and thoroughly LOVED!!!
