Well, the day has finally come....I turn the BIG 3-0 tomorrow!!!
So in honor of my 30th birthday, here are 30 things about me.
And kinda my Friday Flashback....
I have been with my husband half of my life. We started dating when I was 15.
I live in the same town that I was born and raised in.
I'm glad because it's a great safe place to raise a family.
I love love love pizza. I could eat it 5 days a week.
I was a cheerleader in Jr. High and one year of High School.
I was on homecoming court twice in High School.
I once had a car named "Bill."
My very first car was a red Chevy Spectrum. It was affectionately referred to as the "Rectum." Can't you tell I loved that thing?
I had a panic attack while snorkeling on our honeymoon.
I have a Bachelor's Degree, but don't use it.
This one is for my cousins Mindy & Mandy....I once had a pop explode in my backpack in our public library. LOL! Good Times :)
I love dogs....cats, not so much.
I love music from the 60's & 70's.
I am addicted to the smell of Mountain Spring Downy.
I once fell down a flight of marble stairs in college. Talk about painful and embarrassing.
On my first date with my husband, we went to see the movie Mrs. Doubtfire.....and I stayed out past curfew. Don't worry it was ok'd by my mom ;)
I don't know how to drive a stick shift.
When my husband I were in college he worked at the stadium during the football games and would sneak me in with one of his work shirts. I got to sit down on the track....back when the shoe still had a track :) OH-IO
I hated babysitting when I was a kid.
It's a running joke between me and my mother-in-law about how many hair styles I have had since we've known each other. Big perm, short bob, long and straight, extremely short, short with a flip, blond, brown . . .
It's just hair. What's the big deal? It'll grow back!
My favorite thing when I was a little girl was my stuffed dog named Duke.
I have Lupus, Allergies, and Asthma.
I was blessed with 2 very healthy pregnancies.
I once had a job in college where I got paid for posting my class notes online.
I was also a barista at a coffee shop on campus. I loved the nights my hubby would walk me home from work. He always gave me a $10-$20 tip in my tip jar :)
I love Target. It's my husband theory that we can't leave that store without spending at least $50. So far his theory holds true.
When I was little, it was my mom's rule that we had to be in our own yard when the streetlights turned on.
I have eaten sushi, and kangaroo meat.
And last but certainly not least....I have the very best husband and kids a girl could ever ask for. I am not depressed about turning 30. I'm looking forward to the next 30+ :)
