Busy Busy

We had a busy but great weekend! It started off by having our friends over on Friday night. The kids had so much fun playing together, and we had a great time catching up. Here is a picture of four of them (we're missing Naomi).

On Saturday morning we took our Polar Bear Dog to FINALLY get groomed. Isn't she so cute!

On Saturday night, we went to Columbus with my brother and his wife to see the Blue Jackets play. If you're not from Ohio, they're our professional hockey team. We started off the night by grabbing a quick appetizer at Gordon Biersch.

The weather was absolutely beautiful on Sunday. Who would have ever thought that in Ohio in November I would have the windows open in the house. I did laundry literally all day and Shawn took the kiddos fishing in the pond. They didn't last as long as he would have liked so they ended up just coming back up to the hosue and playing in the back yard.

Then on Sunday night, we made these lovely creations. Yes! They're supposed to be pretzels!!

Another great weekend down. I guess I really should start thinking about doing some Christmas shopping soon......

Tiny Talk Tuesday

 If you know Grace, she has something against noodles. She loves Macaroni and Cheese, but freaks out at any other kind of noodle. Whenever I'm cooking supper, she will say "It's not noodles is it?"

So, last night we were sitting at the dinner table. I had explained early that this was "special noodles" called Fettuccine. When the proverbial question came up "How much more do I have to eat?"   Grace said "What are we eating again? Pediatrician?"
